Summary

Legend tells of a castle filled with riches but guarded fiercely by a monster... but not just any monster, a naga of the second generation named Luciel! The creature is said to be so powerful that it easily killed an army that tried to extinguish it without so much as breaking a sweat... The castle has long since been abandoned, all hope of destroying the monster gone . Time has passed and now two twin brothers, one blind and the other deaf, seek out the castle in hopes of finding the treasure legend mentioned.

As they arrive at the castle they find it bare. No monster and no treasure... disheartened, they decide to search the castle with the small hope of finding anything to make their journey worthwhile. In the deepest room farthest from the entrance they come across a battered boy. This boy, they soon find, is anything but normal. His lips and right eye are stitched shut. He eats by stealing the life out of plants or creatures... and communicates with telepathy using his body...

The boy tells them of unspeakable torture, misery and the monster they believed didn't exist. Startled, fearful, morbidly fascinated and compelled to help, they convince him to leave with the promise of finding a method to break the curse placed upon him.

During the journey they come across an young queen whom is desperate to escape her tragic past and a paranoid young man who is harboring unbelievable power. They must be careful, however, because Luciel has been watching them... and waiting. All to soon he will be ready to strike and take back what is his.
